as she remembered his words
she took out the knife
the three little words
that destroyed her life
she didn't understand
why he said it
if he soon regretted it
it was too late now
she was going to end it
as the blood poured out
and she drew her last breath
she saw her phone light up
and the new message said
i want you back
it was too late
she was drifting away
into the light of what became
her new life.
