A long time ago, a young girl and her friend Jessica went to a party. Her friends all had boyfriends or dates, she was alone. She never had time for boys—she had to spend all of her time practicing basketball and soccer. But that night Jessica introduced her to one of her guy friends, and they hit it off immediately.

Rain started to fall and everyone ran to their vehicles, but she was too young to drive so the very sweet, cute guy she had just met told her that she could join him in his jeep.

One thing led to another and she lost her virginity. They dated for 8 months—he meant everything to her—but later she found out he'd cheated on her and gotten this other girl pregnant.

She was devastated, but she just held her head high and went back to doing nothing but basketball, and soccer. He married the girl and had a baby boy with her.

Four years later, she was engaged and had a baby boy. One day, she and her fiance were fighting and she decided to text her old friend, Jessica. Turns out, her ex boyfriend was hanging out with Jessica and her boyfriend. He and his wife were in the middle of a divorce. He'd confided to Jessica that he wished he'd never cheated on her. She texted Jessica, but instead, he got on the phone and apologized for all the wrongs he'd caused and they began to talk.

Now, they're together and happier than ever. Funny how things work out. That's why it's important to give things time.
