Bible Quote about Faith

by Joan Bornshin
(Karachi, Pakistan)

"If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible to you."

"FAITH" A five letter word but very POWERFUL in one's life. If only we have faith we can move mountains. My family has been through rough times and every time we got into a situation we looked up to HIM for a solution and no matter how grave the situation was HE sailed us through it.

Recently I lost my mother, things were very depressing for me, I left my job, now I cannot go out on a full time job because I have a teenage daughter to look after.....a huge mountain. I prayed and left everything in GOD's hands and things have turned out ok, and I am sure before I know it, the little sand dune that is an obstacle will blow over too with HIM by our side.

My parents had solid faith in the DIVINE MASTER. Both used to go for the first Friday mass, and both knew when it was their last. Dad's last words to mum while in the hospital were to "take all the clothes and watch back home for I don't need them anymore" and a few days prior, he showed mum how to make his hair and told her that she has to live on her own soon.

Mum.... the only last words she said when we were taking her to the hospital (we have a little altar before the entrance) kissing the altar she said "take courage" and that was all.

All my life I have witnessed my parents struggle with difficult times, but never did they leave the ROSARY.

My husband used to walk away whenever my side of the family would say the Rosary. Today he does not leave the house without saying his Rosary and with this change, God has blessed him a hundred fold.

FAITH is the turning point in one's life, if you have faith even mud can heal you, only if we have FAITH. My brother does not go to church but he has a FAITH that is stronger than mine (me ... I cannot start my day without prayers) my faith can falter at times, but his is solid.
