Don't Want a Casual Relationship

I think I love him, I think he loves me too. Things were great, but he said he will not have time for our relationship as he is taking university classes and working full time.

He told me he might not be able to see me for 3 weeks and he thinks it's unfair for me, so he wants a causal relationship. I told him I don't do casual and I was mad for him telling me that after we have been having sex for the last 2 months. I thought he might be interested in someone else. God help me! Did I overreact?
