Conflicted Co-worker

There's this guy I work with. I didn't think anything of him when I first started working there. My best friend was like his sister, so one day, I told her to ask him what he thought about me. He said I was cute, so we started to talking..for like 2 or 3 days.

He told me he didn't see us together in the future (I mean, really, I wasn't looking for a forever thing) first of all. And he told me that I'm not the type of girl he would usually date (maybe that's a good thing considering those types of girls obviously don't work out for him).

Despite all this, he told me he's still "attracted" to me. Pfft. Makes no sense at all.
