Controlling Boyfriend

Laura, I'm a 21-year old mother I have a 4-year old son and my boyfriend and I live together. My boyfriend has shown me good motives, but I feel like for any little thing I do, he's bound to leave me.

Today, I was on the internet chatting with a friend who is a female and gave her my number. He got upset with me and asked me why I was so interested in this girl. I explained to him that she was my friend. He got upset, threw his phone at the wall and said that he doesn't understand me, that I'm on the internet a lot.

After that, he ignored me. I called a friend and was telling her my problem and he got even angrier and said that I tell the whole world about our problems.

I tried to get close to him, but he moved away. He said that things can go however I want. What does that mean and what should I do? Should I break up with him?
