dead love, you said
you said you fell in love with another girl
you said our love was dead
but how can it be dead when i still love you,
still feel something for you

you left me in the dark that day
my heart telling me that it still loved you
it bled, hurt as though it were dying,
knowing that you weren't coming back
was what hurt me the most

i tried to forget you
but how can i when you are my first love
remembering the memories we made
never forgetting our first kiss
now i feel alone, cold, and depressed

feeling dark always
darkness and night are the only things
that conceal my love
you still linger in my heart
