I thought we'd be together forever
I thought, but I thought wrong

that's how I thought it was going to be
but no.
it never was
we were together, but not forever.
you cheated
you lied
I believed
you left
moved on
I stayed
I waited for you to come back
but you were gone for good.
you were done trying,
I think I'm done crying,
we both are done dying.
