Don't Be So Quick To Judge

St. Matthew 7:1 This has always been my favorite quote from the bible. Although I don't consider myself a Christian. Nor do I read the bible regularly or attend church on Sundays or Wednesdays. (Though that doesn't mean I am a "sinner" or any less "pure," or "worthy," as those who do attend church.) This is a simple way to remember that everyone has feelings. That we're all affected by others' opinions even if they are just that. Personal opinions. We'd all be hypocrites if we said we've never judged before. Everyone does. But this quote reminds us to remember and think of others' feelings before we make a wrong assumption or before we verbalize something we may regret later on down the road. |
