Falling Angels
by Edwin Locust
(Washington, DC)
Angels are falling like rain from a soul filled cloud
Angels are falling and no one knows why
Crying with tears from pain that is unseen but felt in the depths of one’s soul
Questioning the one who loves but yielding to the one that hates
Angels are falling like rain from a soul filled cloud
Angels are falling and no one knows why
Searching for peace in a violent filled space
Looking for a way out of a closed mind filled with doubt and insecurities, tipping the scale between love and hate
Wishing from a wishing well where wishes no longer dwell
Angels are falling like rain from a soul filled cloud
Angels are falling and no one knows why
Angels are falling in a world surrounded by a living hell.
