How Can I Fix My Relationship and Stop the Constant Fighting?

Me and my partner have been together for 3 years. We were friends for a couple of months before and I didnt feel any attraction towards him at that time which is when I made the mistake of being a bit permiscuous and slept with 2 of his friends.

We then got together, not officially but kind of in secret because of the reputation I seemed to have adopted. We were on and off. I never really felt any real commitment from him because of my past.

But now we have grown close and for the last year we have been serious about being together, but we argue all the time about the silliest of things and nasty things get said about me sleeping with his friends and what that makes me ... I know he doesnt mean the things he says, we always make up but then it happens again.

I'm at the stage where any sign of an argument, whether it be caused by me or him and I just fly off the handle, I scream, I shout in frustration. I just have no tolerance for it anymore, the silly little niggling arguments ... we never stay focused on what the argument initially was about as we get too busy arguing over anything and everything else that gets said. I don't know how to fix my relationship with him.

We argue sometimes for 5 hours then, finally we calm down and talk...we both agree this is not good, but we love each other so much and will now do ANYTHING to make things better. The formula for a good relationship is there, but it needs working out, if you know what I mean. Please help us.

I'm in the same situation that you are in. Me and my boyfriend argue about the dumbest little things and it doesn't help that it's long distance. But at the end of the day, we know that we both love each other. It's just hard because we both are hard-headed, and stubborn.

Maybe you and your other half should sit down and talk about what makes the other so upset. Hopefully, this will help.
