Growing in Love

Keep feeding the fire of love so it continues to shed light

Sustaining a longterm relationship is not possible without a sincere desire to learn and grow. Like everything in life, love is a developmental process and when you're first attracted to someone, your "love" may be based more on physical attraction and fulfillment of your own needs and desires than your willingness to see the person standing before you.

Some relationships can grow past this point, but only if both parties are willing to do what it takes to evolve. It is painful to grow past our current abilities, so many people are not willing to deepen their capacity to love. Such people go from relationship to relationship because they crave that sense of adoration that comes from a brand new love, but can never summon the strength and courage it takes to truly be intimate—physically, emotionally and spiritually—with their partner.

Make no mistake, love is work.
