He expressed his feelings for me but what does this mean?

Anyways around November we started to get a little more serious. But we don't have a title on our relationship. So far we are just friends. It is kind of like we are together and dating but were not at the same time. So like a week ago he expressed his feelings for me and was telling me that he cared about me and some other stuff. Now I don't think I gave him the reaction that he wanted. Because in the back of my mind I knew when we first started talking he said that he wasn't looking for a relationship. He said this because he didn't think it would be fair to the girl since he wouldn't be able to give his all from being so busy. He is currently a senior, in a fraternity, in Rotc, and also works so us trying to find time to spend together is kind of hard. But my reaction was just like kind of nonchalant. Because of my reaction, I think, he was like never mind just forget that I ever said that. I mean I do care and I was happy but it kind of tore me apart at the same time. I am one of those people who doesn't really show my feelings, I am not so much an open person and I know I need to work on this, but from this he thinks that I am emotionless. I just want to know like someone else view and what they think of all this, I would love to be with him but it's like he is sending me mixed signals. I am just confused, does it seem like he wants to be with me or am I just crazy? Thanks in advance. |
