Heartbreak Hollow
There's a place in my soul...
Sometimes I find myself sitting in the trees,
remembering those innocent laughs and all the smiles.
Walking by the creek with its cool essence,
imagining the rainy days cuddled up on the couch.
Smelling autumn's beautiful bliss,
and every fragrance that is you.
Watching the sun set its final glow,
feeling how your love warms my soul.
Dancing with the sway of the willows,
feeling every embrace you brought my heart.
But as the clouds roll in, the thunder bellows,
From my retreat, reality calls my name.
So with a final backward glance,
I find myself sitting
in Heartbreak Hollow
