Heartbroke

I'm in love with this boy, and even though he's not always the nicest boy to me, I still love him very much. We have been having hard times and now, he's found a girl who he likes and he tells me he wants to try something new. He says most likely we will be together again. I don't know what to do. Should I wait for him or move on?
