His Selfishness

Relief from the pain, I need relief from this pain. I loved a man more than I thought I did, it was a 2 year roller coaster ride, but when I first met him, he treated me like such a lady, wining and dining me and taking me to special events. I got caught up in him because no other man has never treated me this way.

What I found out later is that he still had emotional ties with his kid's mother. It took me awhile to realize that she was number one and I was number two in his life. I have never been in a relationship where the kid's mother was in my man's head like she was.

When I confronted him about it, he started getting defensive and was changing. Days later, we broke up. I wouldn't wish this pain on my worst enemy. I'm determined to shake his selfishness off me and get him out of my mind.
