I love my ex boyfriend best friend

Me and my ex boyfriend were dating for 5 months then we broke up because he were more at his friends and I was not allowed to go with him so after a while I got tired of just being there for him so we both decided that it was for the best if we broke up. We are good friends now, but I am in love with his best friend.

His best friend admitted to me that he loves me too, we want to be together but what about my ex, we do not want to hurt his feelings. Me and his best friend feel comfortable with each other, and we laugh a lot and we can trust each other.

Please help me. What should I do?
