You said you would never like me.
Never want to be with me.
I cried and cried,
I brought that cold blade to my wrists.
But one day,
You opened your eyes.
You saw what you had done to me.
You cried and grabbed me
You said, "No more"
That's when you kissed me.
Held me in your warm arms.

Now, you never leave my side.
Always smile when you see me,
Or hear my name.
No more cutting, no more pain
Your fingers intertwined in mine,
How could anything have ever been different?
Just a few inches away from your lips,
You say aloud,
I love you.
I stop, and stare into you grey eyes.
I start crying,
Leaping into your arms,
I hug you.
Saying, I love you too.
