In love with my best friend

I've liked one of my best guy friends for a little over a year, and it's even worse now that I see him almost every day. Unfortunately, he is a major flirt with everyone, and I have no idea if he actually likes me.

I can't tell him I like him, because that would ruin our friendship if he doesn't feel the same way. So, I just have to sit here and hope that he realizes how much I care about him while I drop hints like crazy. It hurts so bad!
