In Love

I'm in love with this girl. At the start of the year I told her that I liked her but she didn't like me. We're best friends still and we've been getting closer and closer these last few days and me and all my other friends thought that she and I might be going out soon.

She always tells me her problems and I always try to help her and when she was going out with "Jimmi" she used to tell me everything that was going on with them so I had to choose whether to be a good friend and help her or be selfish and turn her away from him.

I chose to be a good friend. The other day we were sitting in class just staring into each others' eyes for a whole minute, not saying anything. It was wonderful and yesterday, I found out she likes someone else.

I am heartbroken. I've never cried over a girl before, especially not a girl who wasn't even mine in the first place.

I am in love with this girl and need to know if there is a slight chance that we might ever go out. If I must wait, I will no matter how long. What ever happens, I will always be her friend and I will always love her with all my heart.
