Is this love real?

Okay, there is this boy, he was on the athletics team with me and told me that he likes me! All of his friends are trying to get us going on a date. I don't know if I really like him or is it just a teenage crush?

Whenever I see him around school I smile at him and ask how is he doing. He is very shy and doesn't talk much, but his friends and my friends always get us talking to each other and then we don't know what to say. He texts me a lot and tells me that he misses me when I'm not at school. He asked me out once or twice but I always say sorry I'm busy (when I'm not really). he tells me at school that he likes me and we hug a lot. But when he wants to kiss me I always push away. What should I do?
