Is This Love?

I'm just 15 yrs old n i don't know what I'm doing. This guy is a really good friend of mine. Recently, he told me that he likes me. I like him, but don't know if it is love or something else because we are just 15. One more thing, he says he misses me a lot when he is alone and actually he has an attitude and fights a lot with guys, but whenever he is with me he is not at all like that. He cares for me a lot.

Just tell me what all is this. It's like I can't wait to get in a serious relationship with him, but I am not ready right now. It's too early for me. I don't know about him.

Sweet & Innocent

You sound a lot like me when I was 15. In fact, me and my 15 year old crush are still in love to this day in a relationship, but don't think we never had our ups and downs because we did.

The truth is you are young. And maybe you've never felt this way before. Has he? you are going to experience a lot of things since you sound around the age of grade 9 or 10.

Those years of my life taught me a lot about myself and others. Just try to understand. Most important, just understand and trust yourself, especially your mind and your heart.

By the sounds of it, you guys care about each other, so just let it be and it will be. Don't do anything you're not comfortable with. I'm sure he will understand. If not, you should re-evaluate your relationship. Take care.

Answer to Is This Love
by: Laura Love

If you feel that you're not ready right now for anything more than a friendly relationship, trust yourself. Don't get into a serious relationship just because the other person wants to. The feeling has to come from you. As you mentioned, fifteen is young, so listen to yourself. Tell him that you like him as a friend, but are not ready for anything more right now.
