Every time I look in the mirror I see a boy becoming a man. I long to see you standing hand in hand With your new and improved man. The place that we stand is all ours Welcome to wonder land. Let's do something different tonight Let's stay home and have dinner by candle light As we stare into each other eyes I feel the love that would make any real man cry And your smile just made me realize How I never want to say bye and How much it means for you to be mine. I never thought it would be so hard once you left Until I woke up one morning and called your name And then it hit me: I was by myself and Every time I heard your name, I would become deaf To the rest of the world and Have vivid images of hugging and kissing my girl. The images would never last and for a long time This was my troubled past. I just want to say I know this might seem strange But look in my heart and know I've changed. |
