just a few thoughts

Love isn't something that has to be publicized on Myspace every other day,
It's a private feeling that you share with that one special person and no one else,
It's the feeling that makes you feel like you can fly,
It's not the butterflies you feel the first time you kiss or hold hands,
Butterflies die. They don't represent "love"
Love is an undying feeling,
But more than that, it's a choice.

When making your vows, you aren't promising that you are going to feel butterflies forever, or be physically attracted to that person forever, or publicly display acts of love all the time...
you aren't promising not to fight with that person, or not to ever make a mistake, or not to go through PMS every month...
You're promising to never leave. You're promising to engage in a deeper one-on-one relationship, to always be there, to always take their side.
You're promising to work through all the petty fights and not walk out, to apologize for your mistakes, and to try to better yourself every single day for that person.
This is what true love really is.

It's hard to let the one you love leave...
even if it's only for a month...
but love is selfless.
I may be lonely, but he is exactly where he should be.
