To feel your body pressed to mine Our fingers intertwined To feel your breath on my lips Your hands on my hips So many thoughts running through my head My pale cheeks turn a bright red You wrap your arms around me It feels like we were meant to be I whisper, "Don't ever leave me...never?" You smile and say, "Forever and Ever?" I gently put my hand against your face Not one heartbeat out of place We look up at the sky Wishing not another second would pass us by We slowly separate and part Could our love just be the start? You walk slowly away I wish you could stay My breath, ragged and rough I didn't know watching you leave could be this tough Before I knew it you were gone I sat on my porch until it was dawn You came the next morning And without warning I jumped on you with joy so strong That our love couldn't ever be wrong Yes, we might get in fights and fuss, But I think it will be forever: just us.
