Kiss
by Jehquia Williams

The most eloquent silence; that of two mouths meeting in a kiss.
The only sound being the steady breaths and fluttering hearts of lovers.
Lips moving in sync to an unsyndicated rhythm being created along the way;
free-styled.
Tracing along every pane of your lip with the tip of the tongue as an artist does with his paint and a canvas;
mounting perfection this is better than anything I've ever experienced;
brand new.
They say first kisses are awkward but our lips came together with such a naturalness it was as if they knew where they were to be at that exact moment;
Fate.
'Tis but a kiss...
The beginning of much more.
