First, let me say that i am very sorry to hear about your situation, but if it helps, i know how u feel.
I went thru a very similar situation with the 1st person i was in love with too. I also gave him another chance after the 1st time he cheated, & i had to find out the hard way, once a cheater, always a cheater.
Please dont take him back again no matter how much you still love him, you must find a way to move on and begin healing from this. I would suggest not having contact with him because in the long run, it will only make it harder for you to let go.
And whatever you do, dont make the mistake i did, & get into another relationship before you are completely over everything as best as you can be, no matter how lonely you may feel, or how long it may take, because u will possibly just wind up with another broken heart & relationship.
It will be the hardest thing you will ever have to do, but you must accept that, & you must accept the fact that it will take a very long time for you to heal & get over this, & parts of you will most probably always be haunted by it, at least that's how it was for me, but just don't make the mistake of letting it ruin future relationships.
Get counseling if you have too, if it feels too hard to deal with on your own. I have been through this so i know how it feels & i made the mistake of not doing these things & it cost me a lot more heartache that i still suffer from.
It will take time, but know that even if you never stop loving him, one day you will be able to look back & be glad that you are no longer with him, & you will know that you deserve better than that.
All you can do is concentrate on you, by getting your life & self worth back. You will most probably have trust issues that could affect future relationships (i still have a problem with that & it's been 8 years since it happened to me), so dont hesitate to get help to overcome it if you have to.
most importantly, learn what you can from this experience, & be cautious in future relationships.
