Light In The Dark

In the dark of the night, with the glistening moon, I can see someone's face but cant discern who. He has eyes of ice and a heart of fire, burning with the heat of the night. He comes out of the dark and into the light, and closer to me. But when he comes closer, I don't feel fear, but the warmth of his heart, beating wild and free. As he puts his arms around me, but never seeing his face, he whispers in my ear, the words I'll never forget. Softly he said, "Don't be afraid, love is your light in the dark, if you remember that the light will never fade." Click here to read or post comments. |
