who's far from plain had many guys to court her. She looked at them and all the same she drew a breath and dumped them. At a young age she knew the drill: don't love and you'll be safe. Her breath was caught deep in her lungs as though she couldn't breathe. Her mind whispered, begged her to feel, to hear the simple plea It cried to her "He is the one!" and held her hopes up high. But just the same he turned away and never did look back. Poor little Jane, she felt quite plain after what had happened. She pulled up her chin then gave a grin and pretended nothing hurt her.
