My daughter also has dated a Military guy for 4 yrs now...he is getting out to be with her real soon. I was there for him to let him know and remind him that she was being true to him. Hey, Chris, part of loving is trusting someone. You have been with this gal for 4 years now, so you know that she loves you and if she didn't, you guys wouldn't last that long nor would your long distance love survive. Be honest with yourself and her also, tell her your fears about this Ben dude and make sure you also tell her how much you love her. Okay, so if someone I've dated for four years started talking to another guy, I'd get a little nervous, but if you love her, you have to trust her. Without trust, love becomes almost superficial.
