Long Distance Relationship Worries

by jacob
(mississippi)

My girlfriend is thinking about going to college either in California or in Florida and we both live in Louisiana. I go to college in Mississippi. I don't know if i can take this long distance relationship if she does in fact decide to go to California or Florida.

Obviously, if she decides to go to school in Louisiana or Mississippi than we will be fine, but if she doesn't then I dont know what to do.

Tonight, we had a really big fight and I told her that she needs to let me know when she decides what she is going to do because if she does decide to go to to California or Florida, then we will need to re-evaluate our relationship.

I love her with all my heart but I don't know how I could deal with seeing her a few times a year. I'm just really confused and don't know what to do or think because I don't want her to make a decision about college based on us, but I don't want her to go away either.

I feel selfish but I really do see myself with her for the rest of my life and I know that we can make it, but how do I say that without saying that I don't want her to move so far away?

I want her to be happy but I want us to be close and be together as well ... please help!
