Long Distance Relationship Worries

I have recently split from a 17 year marriage and met a fantastic guy. He is everything that I'm looking for in a man: kind, caring, considerate. Unfortunately, he is leaving to go back to Australia in October and I've fallen head over heels for him.

He has children there and misses them and I have children here, living with me. He says such beautiful things to me, cares a lot for me, but I don't know what to do.

Do I pull away from him and see where it takes us or do I throw myself whole-heartedly into a long distance relationship, knowing that he may leave and never come back?

I can't bear the thought of losing him, now that I've found my soulmate at long last. xx
