I fell in love. It was deep in love. I fell in love with someone who had nothing in common with me. He was short, I was tall, he was happy, I was sad, he was flirty, I was avoidant.

I had a really big crush on him. I had my friends try to find out who he liked. He would always send signals that looked like he was flirting with me, but how would I know? I don't read flirtinese.

One of my friends sent him messages through Facebook. We all thought the plan would work, but it came out the opposite. He felt threatened by this mysterious person sending him stalking messages about someone he liked.

One day, my friend sent him a message with MY NAME IN IT! He came up to me and asked me if I knew that person who sent him the message. I didn't respond. Oh, it was so horrible. He avoided me for the rest of the time I liked him. The love signal was lost.

Now I'm falling for another. My friend gave him candy for Valentine's day for me. Do I send another love signal or do I just give up? I don't know how to interpret relationships. This is harder than I thought...
