love astray
by JOHN JOEL DZUMBA
(HAMMANSKRAAL)
the glass kept our hearts spilled.
emptiness left,
though smelling memories emerge.
fallen is our gifted times.
joy blessed our pain,
parting yet to arise.
was it less that one gave,
let our silence answered invisible.
through more we maybe had,
yes i was to kneel in your eyes.
our cupids have died,
though little pulses still feeling us as once.
be far away.
let not my tears wet your robes.
close your pigments,
little moving upon your parting.
love ill always have,
pain ill always accept,
yet you fail to disguise.
you chose to sail our boat alone,
though your veins lacked the might.
little will i ever no,
whether you had a better sailor then i.
