Love & Castism

Me and my guy have been in a relationship for a long time: 9 yrs. We both want to marry. His family agrees. My mom does not agree but my mom knows that I'll marry only him. The reason is castism. We are inter-religious and also inter caste. I am christian and he is Hindu. Secondly, I am a post graduate working girl and he is not enough educated. My mother says he is not up to my standards but I love him and want to be with him forever. I have make a commitment to him. I want to fulfill it. Please tell me what should I do?
