Love Forever

Three years later, I found out that this was a lie. He didn't like me back. But I'm so happy that he told me he did because that's when I first got his attention. We went to school together from grade 7 to grade 9 and we dated on and off. We have so many memories together. So many little things that only make him and I smile. I soon realized that I loved him. My first real love. He made me smile when I was sad, he made me laugh when I was lonely, and he was always there for me. No matter what. I know I will always have a place in his heart, but I really screwed up ... We live across the city from each other so it's hard to always see each other, but no matter what he would come down to my end of the city every weekend and spend it with me. Recently, I made the huge mistake of breaking up with him to go out with this guy who lives by my school. We had one class together so I thought, well hey, I get to see this guy all the time and I never get to see my boyfriend. So i broke up with the guy I have loved for 3 1/2 years to go out with this new guy. I made a mistake because even though the new guy lives close, he never has time to see me and yet the one I love still calls me all the time, even to say goodnight, he's still coming down to my end to see me, and yet I gave him up. I know he will always be here for me, but i miss him. Even though i still see him. You never know what you have until you give it up. If you love someone, give it a fair chance. I'm scared that one day, he won't be there for me anymore, and it's all because of the decision I made to break up with him to be with another guy. The new guy is really sweet, but he never has time for me. There is this place inside my heart where my love's finger prints still rest, where his kisses still linger, and where his whispers softly echo.
