A guy liked me then i liked him
but i never told
now a girl likes him -- shes my friend
Now he likes a girl
not me nor my friend
he wont shut up 'bout this girl
seems she excels in what i fail in
she's pretty beautiful smart and charming
when my friend hears this, she starts crying
secretly i want to too but
to let him know i love him too is too much
he would never forgive me
i hid my love for so long he moved on
so now i am is to blame
he started it, but now i have to live with it
the thought of knowing love is lost
like a lost great gift
if not opened, the gift is forgotten and holidays pass
life moves on and the love that was put into the gift
is gone.
