Me, and my friend : ] Where friends again <3 Im on the right, shes on the left ; ]
"Jessica, come here!" My 13 year old friend said.
"Hmm?" I mumbled back to her. She was looking at my 4-year crush, Troy.
"I think I like Troy, Jessica. You don't really care, right?" she said, staring me in the eye.
"Uh , not really.." I lie to her staring at my feet.
NEXT DAY-
"Jessica, I need to talk to you," my friend said quietly.
"Yeah?"
"I asked Troy out today. He said yes."
"What? You asked him out?! But you know I've liked him for like, ever. How could you do that?" I said to her, throwing my hands in the air.
"Please, Jessica! I like him so much, just let me go out with him! I thought we where best friends!"
"EXCUSE ME! You know what? I don't think we can be friends anymore. I can't stand to be with you when Troy's gonna just be tagging along."
The day went on and I felt like I'd been stabbed in the heart. It was tough, seeing her and Troy together 24/7, giggling away like a couple in love.
The bell rang, signaling the end of the day. I packed my bag and looked up. Troy was coming toward me. I quickly walked away, avoiding all eye contact.
"Jessica!" Troy said to me, touching my shoulder. A spark of electricity went through me.
"Yes?" I say to him, looking away.
"Look, I know me going out with your friend is really bugging you, but look. I felt sorry for her. But if you knew who I actually liked, you would be much happier. Trust me."
"Okay , then why are you going out with her? Do you know how long I've liked you?" I say to him.
"I know, I know! Look, I broke up with her after lunch. We're over. I told her who I actually like. And she said it was okay. Please give me another chance. Please, I really really like you." He grabbed my hand. "Please."
"Okay." I whispered to him. We walked out of the school and as I said goodbye to him, he drew me closer, and right there, he kissed me on the lips. Nothing else felt real.
It was just him and me and nothing else.
