Love or Fantasy?

Love or Fantasy?

I am 13 and in a very awkward situation (for me). All of my friends say I am way more mature than most people my age, and in truth, I feel like a 15 year old most of the time.

I think I'm in love with a guy from my church, but am really confused because most of my life I have been told that below 17-ish is too young to "actually fall in love." He's pretty much in my thoughts all the time, but I don't know what to do! Do I tell him my feelings for him, and go from there, or do I wait and see if all this blows over?

Plus, he's 17! How do I know if I'm REALLY in love with him, or just fantasizing about my perfect man? Please help!

Honey, you are falling for him. But don't rush into it. If there is such an age difference, as of now, since you're both kind of young and men his age typically only think of one thing. *hint hint*

I wouldn't tell him how you feel. That just gives him a possible reason to take advantage of you and no one wants that. Give your heart time to sort things out...give it time to actually connect with your mind because otherwise, you may end up brokenhearted.

And that, my dear, is one of the worst pains you can experience; and there is not much you can do to dull the pain without injuring yourself or getting yourself into trouble.

Hope this helps....
