Love Poem ~ My Beloved
by Charlotte Budd
Hold me beloved,
block out your resounding light ,
allow me to see your soul through my perfect sight.
Touch me beloved, prove to me this is real ,
i will understand this imperfect reality if i can just feel.
Lie to me beloved, whisper sweet promises,
that this will never end,
lies that become stitches and allow my broken heart to mend.
Take me beloved,
away form their dagger eyes,
they don't understand our purity
or perfection and will pollute us with dirty lies.
Kiss me beloved,
allow our breath to entwine,
as i draw strength from your presence, you do with mine.
Love me beloved,
let it run bone deep,
allow it to be a love others merely dream,
while they sleep.
