Love Sucks Because It's an Illusion

I think it has a lot to do with not having my Daddy's love, see he left when I was barely 3 years old. And he wrote to me a few times and even sent me a Holly Hobby doll, but just disappeared after that. So pretty much all my life, I've been looking for that lost love. Thought I had found it so many times,but was always WRONG! So for me love has sucked for a long time. Actually what I have had I wouldn't even call love. After being beaten, raped and told I could never find someone who wouldn't cheat on me, I pretty much have realized love is just for the privileged and the pretty and the people who don't want it! The only love I've ever known to be close to real is the love I have for my three boys. They are my whole world. As far as love with a man, I just consider it playing house! You know, shacking up together till one decides to find someone better. Oh and Marriage?! Ha! That's just legalized prostitution in my book and I've already been married twice, so I know! You grow up with this illusion that someday some guy will come and take you away and whisk you into paradise. Ha! That's only for Barbie and Ken. What you really get are porn-addicted freaks who just want someone to cook and clean and raise their kids while they chase every tail out there. And the only men that aren't like that are gay, they are chasing a different tail! Lol! In my experience I've dealt with commitaphobes, mamma's boys, sexual sadists, abusers, alchoholics, sociopaths, control freaks, liars and other sorts too bad to mention. Yeah, love may be what Christ wanted for all of us, but this is a far cry from it! And because of what I've seen and been through, I can safely say it's an illusion, like a magic trick.
