Mean-spirited mother-in-law
I am a 23 year old mother of 3. I've been with my boyfriend for 3 years, and we've lived together for about a year. Although we do not have any major issues, his mother has recently became an issue. I thought for the past year that we've been living together that she accepted me and my kids. Recently I found out that is not the case, and for the past few months she has been nothing but rude, disrespectful and at times verbally abusive to the children and I. I do not want to put my boyfriend in the middle, but this situation is making me rethink our relationship. Even though I love him with all my heart, I don't think I can take his mother attitude anymore. What should I do? Sincerely, Mother of 3 |
