Nicholas C's poem lacks originality and, technically, is deficient. Yet, it is undoubtedly a poem from the heart - one can feel his (assuming Nicholas is a male) pain and pangs, and his all-encompassing love for this other person. Ultimately, that is what poetry is about - communicating effectively. And that is what Nicholas C. does here very well. Well done, my man!
