My Crush, My Friend, My Heart

I was at my friends house and no surprise, we were calling boys. I was with three friends at the time. We ended up calling and texting a boy who I liked and my friend liked. My friend asked him for me and he said no, My heart tore a little.

Next, my friend asked him for my other friend, he said yes, My heart tore in half. Then, my friend asked another crush for me, he also said no, I only had a little heart left. He said he liked my friend, she asked for herself, no heart left.

The next day, we went to a basketball tournament, and all of the boys we called were playing. Apparently my first crush knew that I was crying my heart out. At the end of the day he hugged me to make me feel better, and I gained a quarter of my heart back...for awhile.

After that night I didn't have enough heart to cry and that's where I am, writing advice so others won't get stuck like me.

What I learned from this is that your heart is still there even if it doesn't seem like it. It just disappears for awhile. I'm sure I will get over it someday, and maybe I will be friends with both my crushes.

For now, though, I think I'll cry for awhile. Just to let you know, it is okay to cry.
