Don't leave me now,
Our time together isn't up,
I never meant to wish you away,
And leave me in the darkness.

You are my surrendered blinking light,
You made me see,
Who I really could be.

Even behind these closed eyes,
Your light shone through,
Don't leave me forever blind.

Trapped in my endless cell,
No way out,
No walls to climb,
To dig,
To hide behind.

Floating through the universal darkness,
Blown out beacon,
The star of my life.
