Pain doesn't hurt when it's all you've got, Suicide is painless. It's life that hurts, It makes you rot, Thank you for making me feel so worthless. You used to be the reason I breathed, Now you just make me cry. Maybe if my heart stops beating It wouldn't hurt so bad There's a small memory that I hold on to, To make my life not seem so sad. I don't bleed from the short shiny blade of release Or from the small slivers of glass But from the broken pieces of my heart That have fallen down unseen cracks. I'm sick of crying, Tired of trying, Sure, I may be smiling, But inside I'm dying. Scars and wounds heal with time and sometimes You can't see how deeply one feels From just one sudden, sweet appeal.
