you watch me as my tears fall, fall down my cheecks in red hot streaks, you know now that this is how, the love you gave me made me fly, fly my way up to the sky, but as you took that love away, you stopped my flying and made me pray, pray that with you i would be found, pray that i wouldn't hit the ground, but as i pray so i fall to my death, my breath was taken in this act of theft, and as i land on the ground, my heart, it does pound, then breaking into a thousand shards, loosing you has been so hard, my inner spirit shatters inside me, leaving just the shell that did hide me, and as i say my last goodbye, i wave farewell with one final cry. |
