Loving someone for years only to know that they'll never love you back isn't the worst part about it. It's knowing that through all those years you two were the best of friends and he would never let you down. And the only time you really needed him to agree...he practically picked you up and threw you in the dirt. So all you could do was lay there and wait till you could find the strength in yourself to find someone else and to learn to trust yourself again, and to not trust others as easily as before.

Choose wisely and live life to the fullest. Although you will remember your first true love forever, you can have even better memories with someone who actually cares about you and will love you back for who you are and can see deep down into your soul and take a piece of your heart and handle it with care for the rest of his life.
