One Look and He Was in Love

It was the first day of my sophomore year in high school when I saw him for the first time. He was looking at me from across the auditorium. I looked back at him a few times, but thought nothing of it. Until my best friend, Katy saw him staring me down in 4th period English.

"Hayles, the new boy keeps looking at you. I think he's into you."

"No way," I said.

Five minutes later, who walks over to my desk but the handsome new kid.

"Umm, Hayley," he said.

"Yes, how can I help you?"

"Will you go out with me on Friday?"

"Of course she will!" said Katy, "pick her up at 7."

After he left, I looked at Katy and we both started jumping and screaming.

That date turned into 2, then 3, and we dated for 4 years until he proposed on my 18th birthday.
We got married on a hot August day on a beach in California, and we have two beautiful 3 year old twin daughters named Katy (after my best friend who made this possible) and Rachelle.

I am now 21 years old, and my life cannot be happier.
