When a wrecked soul I was, our paths did meet.
Though dreary my life had been, my eyes in you have set.
Trusting was difficult, but with you I took a risk.
In you I have seen a flame, my heart braved to frisk.
My heart once loved deeply; betrayed nonetheless.
In a shell I kept hidden, no love can ever press.
A coward they call me, because love I kept away.
Then you came and saved my day, in your arms my heart I chose to lay.
My past never bothered you, despite how ugly and blurry.
You showed me love, made me believe I was worthy.
When I was weak, my burden you willingly carried.
All my past, with the earth I have buried.
Afraid of being weak, my love I never showed.
Looking back I weep, I wish I never cowed.
My love I beg, a chance to me you give.
One chance to love you true. Oh please do forgive.
(Lalove C, you know I am sometime, foolish, often childish, mostly selfish. But despite that, I hope you see how I truly love thee.)
